Develop The Person
Basketball is a tool for teaching life lessons. I strive to help athletes become respectful, accountable, resilient, and confident individuals both on and off the court.
Develop The Player
Fundamentals are the foundation of success. I emphasize skill development, basketball IQ, and consistent improvement while encouraging athletes to compete with passion and purpose.
Develop The Leader
Every player has the ability to influence others. Through teamwork, communication, and responsibility, I challenge athletes to become leaders within their teams, schools, and communities.

More Than A Game
My coaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that basketball is about more than developing great players — it is about developing great people. One of the scriptures that guides my approach to coaching is Philippians 2:3: "Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves."
This verse reminds us that true success comes through humility, service, and putting the needs of the team above individual recognition. At Golden Eagles Basketball Club, we strive to build a culture where athletes learn to compete with excellence while demonstrating respect, selflessness, and integrity.
My coaching philosophy is centered on three principles: Develop the Person, Develop the Player, and Develop the Leader.
I believe success is measured not only by wins and championships, but by the growth, effort, and character displayed throughout the journey.
Why I Coach
I coach because I believe every young person deserves someone who believes in them.
For more than 13 years, I have had the privilege of serving as a skill development coach, assistant coach, and head coach. Throughout that journey, the greatest reward has never been the wins or trophies — it has been witnessing young athletes grow in confidence, character, and purpose.
Coaching allows me to positively impact lives beyond the basketball court. It gives me the opportunity to mentor, encourage, and help young people discover strengths they may not yet see in themselves.
My goal is to create an environment where athletes feel challenged, supported, and inspired to become the best versions of themselves. I want every player who wears a Golden Eagles jersey to leave our program with more than improved basketball skills. I want them to leave with stronger character, greater confidence, and a commitment to serving others.
Guided by faith and the principles found in Philippians 2:3, I strive to teach athletes that leadership is not about being above others — it is about uplifting others.
